Scissors & Paste is devoted to the history and bibliography of erotic literature, with a particular emphasis on the publishers, collectors, bibliographers, translators, and private presses that preserved these often elusive works. The site contains original bibliographies, historical essays, newly discovered archival material, and English translations of important French texts, many appearing here for the first time. Whether your interest lies in clandestine publishing, Olympia Press, nineteenth-century French erotica, or the lives of the people behind these books, I hope you will find something here of interest. The navigation panel on the left provides access to all currently available titles.

I hope you enjoy exploring the collection. – Patrick J. Kearney
